introduction

LLPB Mission Statement

The Langley Leadership Prayer Breakfast serves in a quiet way to provide an opportunity for our government, business, labour, education and professional leaders to meet, reaffirm our faith in God, uphold those in authority in prayer and express appreciation to our community leaders.

Tough to believe we are already celebrating our 30th Prayer Breakfast! We are grateful to God for His guidance, provision, and leadership in the lives of those in public office who acknowledge Him as Lord.

We are looking forward to gathering once again at the Langley Events Center on October 18, 2024.

This is our third year at the Langley Events Center. It may take a little longer both to park and to use the one elevator to go up to the banquet center. Please allow a few more minutes in your schedule.

If you have any questions or need help with ordering online, please email langleylpb@gmail.com.

Russ + Sandy Rosen

Musicians

Russ & Sandy Rosen are the dynamic duo that lead Bez Arts Hub. Both are singer-songwriters and together they have written, recorded and produced more than a dozen albums of their own. They have been Artist Entrepreneurs for more than 35 years, pioneering a touring musical production; a music publishing company which releases original songs, stories and shows; a travelling arts caravan that traversed the nation for 5 years; a dance studio that has seen hundreds of dancers on its floors; a pre-professional dance program that has created 12+ original productions on city stages; and now, Bez.

Their years of experience as touring musicians, producers of artistic work, mentors of emerging artists and curators of first-class concert presentations, uniquely qualifies them to oversee this burgeoning creative community that is Bez Arts Hub. Sandy is also a dancer, an author of 2 books (Bare - The Misplaced Art of Grieving and Dancing, and Off the Map), a Dance Mentor and the Owner/Creative Director of Bez Arts Hub. Russ is an active Performing Musical Professional and is the Artistic Director at Bez.

MusicianS

Brad Sumner

In 1996, Brad moved to Langley for schooling, thinking he would end up back in Toronto. But 28 years later, he still calls BC home.  Brad has served as chair of the Langley Christian Leaders association, pastored at Jericho Ridge Community Church, and chaperoned REMSS high school choir trips (each has its own unique set of challenges!).  Brad is an avid reader, an occasional runner & kayaker, an armchair oenologist and an advocate for the marginalized. Brad and his wife Meg have two young adult children and a rescue dog named Poppy.
